Mickey L. Walters

Dr. Mickey L. Walters founded Faith Outreach Christian School in 1984. Dr. Walters attended Moody Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology. She later received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from IBI. She received her MA in Christian Counseling from Whitfield Theological Seminary in 1990 and also an MA in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling from Faith Theological Seminary. Dr. Walters is a member of the National Christian Counselors Association and is ordained with the National Christian Conservative Church and Faith Outreach Center.

Julie A. Sierra

Mrs. Sierra has been working at FOA since 1996, the first four of these years as a fifth grade teacher and the remaining years as the principal. She attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She later attended Faith Theological Seminary and Christian College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and a Master of Christian Education. She also teaches the middle and high school students when needed.

Tammie J. Miskiel

Mrs. Tammie J. Miskiel was born in Tampa, Florida. She is a graduate from Leto High School. She received her Bachelor of Christian Education Degree from Faith Theological Seminary & Christian College. Mrs. Miskiel has worked at Faith Outreach Academy since 2001 and currently is one of the Assistant Principals and the Financial/Office Manager.

Simuel Howard

Mr. Howard began teaching at FOA in 2010 working with the middle school and high school students teaching Math, Bible, Science, and Sign Language. Mr. Howard has two Bachelor's Degrees, one in Criminal Justice from USF as well as a Bachelor's of Christian Education Degree from Faith Theological Seminary and Christian College. Mr. Howard is one of the Assistant Principals of Faith Outreach Academy.

Dianne Jackson

Mrs. Jackson has taught preschoolers for over 19 years.  She has taught at FOA for over 9 years.  During this time, she has worked as a K3 teacher, K3/K4 teacher, Aftercare teacher, manager of the Summer Program, and teacher in charge of the Elementary Building.  Mrs. Jackson has an ECA (Early Childhood Associate), which is equivalent to a CDA in Childhood Education.


Telixa Calderon

Mrs. Calderon joined the FOA team in 2015 as an administrative assistant. She has a great passion for helping others and loves serving the students and parents. She is the advisor to the seniors, helping them with various events and activities.

Joselin "Ms. Joy" Brown

Ms. Joy began working at FOA in 2014 in the P.E. department. She has a passion and great creativity for maintaining the school's various multi-media accounts and creating various school publications. 


Ms. Carr

Ms. Carr began teaching at FOA in 2020 as our lead VPK teacher. She has all of her CDA and VPK credentials. Ms. Carr has over 15 years of teaching experience. Teaching is her passion. She loves impacting the minds of the little ones in a way to carry them throughout their childhood years.

Michaela Paleveda

Mrs. Paleveda has taught at FOA since 2005. She has taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade and fourth grade. She has been teaching since 1995. Mrs. Paleveda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Tampa College in 1990 and her degree in Elementary Education from U.S.F. in 1997. She is returning this year as the Kindergarten teacher.

Yolanda Perez
1st Grade Teacher

Mrs. Perez joined FOA in 2006 as a teacher assistant. She returned in 2018 as our first grade teacher. She has a Bachelor’s degree in education from Interamerican University in Puerto Rico. Her teaching experience includes both public and private schools. Mrs. Perez is a dedicated educator who has a passion for teaching and seeing her students succeed.

Lindsay Santos
2nd Grade Teacher

Mrs. Santos has taught at FOA since 2006 as our second grade teacher. She has her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. Mrs. Santos has been teaching since 1976 in Puerto Rico, New York and Florida. Mrs. Santos also has been the co-director of some of our Christmas dramas, as well as various other programs.

Lashon Green
3rd Grade Techer

Ms Green joined FOA in 2019 as the third grade teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Services/ Early Childhood Education. She also has a Master’s Degree in Education. She has a passion to teach. She’s been teaching for over 20 years.

Ms. Jones
4th Grade Teacher

Ms. Jones joined FOA in 2019 as our 4 th grade teacher. She graduated from Delaware State
University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and a minor in Education. Ms. Jones has taught
3 rd and 6 th grades. Ms. Jones will be starting to work on her Master’s Degree in Education at
the University of Tampa in the fall. She enjoys coaching cheerleading in her spare time.

Heather Flaschenriem
5th Grade Teacher

Mrs. Heather Flaschenriem graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.  She has taught 1st through 5th grades and has been teaching since 2000. Mrs. Flaschenriem joined the staff of FOA in 2014 teaching third grade and more recently fifth grade.


Ivelisse Rodriguez
Middle School- English & High School- Spanish

Ms. Rodriguez has taught at FOA since 2003. She began as our 5th grade teacher and has taught 4th – 12th grades, as well as being the co-director of our Christmas dramas and other programs. Ms. Rodriguez graduated from Lehman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Special Education. Ms. Rodriguez has been teaching students for over 26 years. Ms. Rodriguez will be teaching middle school English, Social Studies and High School Spanish this year.

Christian Padilla
High School- Math / Social Studies

Mr. Padilla returned to FOA in 2019 teaching middle school Math and Social Studies and is now teaching high school Math and Social Studies. He attended William Penn University on a wrestling scholarship where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and General History and Government. Mr. Padilla loves coaching, playing sports, and working with young people.

Dr. Awilda Pagan-Elliot
Middle School & High School- Student Counselor / English
Dr. Elliot joined FOA in 2016. She began her career at FOA as the Middle School 6th grade teacher and served in that capacity for two years. She now teaches High School English and various electives. 
She earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from John Bay College in New York City. She also received a Master of Science Degree in Education and a Graduate Certificate in Counseling from Capella University in 2012. She has been teaching for over 15 years. 
Dr. Elliot has earned a Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling and is a Minister of Christian Counseling. She  will also be ordained as a Minister by the end of 2020. She currently serves as a Chaplain and ministers in hospitals and nursing homes alongside her husband. 
Mr. Miller
Middle School- Math & Science
Mr. Miller joined FOA in 2020 as the Middle School Math and Science teacher. Mr. Miller earned his Bachelors of Science in Church Ministry and an minor in Church Music from Southeastern University. Along with his 4 years of teaching experience, Mr. Miller has worked as a Youth Minister in Orlando, FL and managed a Math Learning Center in Ramsey, NJ.
Mrs. Perkins
High School- Science

Mrs. Perkins joined FOA in 2020. She is teaching HS Science. Mrs Perkins earned her Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of South Florida. She has a passion for science education with a specialty in life science. She has taught science from 5th through 10th grade.

Mrs. Juarez
Middle School- Bible / Social Studies & High School- Drama
Mrs. Juarez (Ms. J.) began teaching at FOA in 2020 working with the middle school students teaching Bible and Social Studies, as well as High School Drama. She has an Associate's degree in Mass communication, Associate's degree in Radio and Television, and a Bachelor's degree in Theater. Mrs. Juarez has served as a Christian Ministry Director, Youth Pastor, and International Missionary to Central and South America, as well as Cuba, She has been teaching for over 15 years.


Gelia Woodward
ESE Department Head

Ms. Woodward has been our lead teacher for our ESE Department since 2012 and works with the elementary school students.  Ms. Woodward received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oakland University and her Master's Degree in Learning and Behavioral Disorders from Buffalo State College.  She has many years of experience in teaching ESE, as well as kindergarten, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades.  She also volunteers in the Special Needs Department at Idlewild Baptist Church and as the Commanding Officer of the Suncoast Squadron, U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps for youth ages 10 -18 in Clearwater.

Tammie Wilkie
ESE Teacher

Mrs. Wilkie joined FOA in 2015. She works with middle and high school stuents in the ESE Dept., as well as teaching a variety of classes. Mrs. Wilkie received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Social Work, as well as her Master's Degree in Teaching from the University of South Florida.  She has previous teaching experience with second, fifth, and sixth grades.


Simuel Howard
Athletic Director

Mr. Howard is very passionate about sports and seeing students realize they are capable of doing things that they once thought was impossible. Before joining FOA, Mr. Howard coached wrestling for over 5 years and has assisted with conditioning students here at FOA in flag football, volleyball, and basketball. He is proud to have played a small role in helping our 2020 varsity basketball team win the S.C.C. Conference championship.

Irena "Tori" Torrolova
P.E. Teacher / Team Sports

Coach Tori is working on a degree in Physical Education and Communications from Boise State Unversity. Coach Tori is a former FIBA and NCAA Division I player. She was a member of the Bulgarian Jr. and Women's National teams since the age of 13. Coach Tori has made numerous appearances at Final Four World and European Championships. She is a bronze medalist from the Goodwill Games 1990. Coach Tori is a former Athletic director and has coached Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football, Baseball, and Soccer.

Leslie Williams
Volleyball Coach

Ms Williams began working at FOA in 2020 as the coach for Boys Volleyball. She has been playing volleyball since she was 11 yrs old. She has played club ball, as well as playing while in college. Ms Williams received an Associate's Degree in Education from Spartanburg Methodist College. She is currently attending Keiser University. Ms. Williams is passionate about volleyball and helping the students to be the best volleyball players. 

Brandon Channer
Basketball Coach

Mr. Channer began teaching at FOA in 2020 working with middle school and high school students teaching Bible, P.E., and coaching boys basketball. He attended several colleges on an athletic scholarship for basketball. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies from Montclair State University. Mr. Channer has a passion for basketball and has been coaching for four years. 


Simethea Reese
Lunch Facilitator

Ms. Reese began working at FOA in 2019 in food service. She is responsible for preparing all of the food at FOA. She has a passion for cooking and loves working with students.

Betty Hall
Elem. Lunch Assistant

Ms. Hall began working at FOA in 2018 assisting in the Elementary Lunchroom. Ms. Hall has a sweet disposition and loves the children.

Cindy Mitch
Middle / High School Lunches

Ms. Mitch began working at FOA in 2020 serving the middle and high school students lunch. She has a servants heart and is happy to help wherever she is needed.

Kanchara Bohigian
Elem. Lunch / Aftercare

Mrs. Bohigian began working at FOA in 2020 assisting in the Elementary Lunchroom as well as watching the students in Aftercare. She has been working with students for several years in various capacities.

Angela Torres
Restroom Assistant

Ms. Torres, or "Ms. Angie" as the students call her, has been working at FOA since 2019. She began assisting in the Elementary Lunchroom. This year she is working as the Elementary Restroom Monitor keeping the restrooms clean and sanitized.

Nelyn Page
Restroom Attendant

Mrs. Page began working at FOA in 2020 as the Gym Restroom Monitor. She is keeping the restrooms clean and sanitized. She loves helping people.


Mr. Anthony Paschal

Mr. Anthony began working at FOA in 2014. Mr Anthony does an amazing job of making sure that everything is in order at FOA and FOC.
