We are offering a summer tutoring program to help students become more prepared for their next grade level. 

The subjects which will be offered are Math, Reading, Science, History and Language Arts.  If you feel your child has been struggling through a certain subject this year, it may be beneficial to allow him/her to attend this tutoring program so that he/she may be better prepared for next school year.  These classes would give your child the one on one attention needed to help him/her understand the subject matter.

Tutoring sessions will be offered two days a week at the rate of $40.00 per week.  Each session is two hours in length.  Summer tutoring is available for students who are registered at FOA for the 2010-11 school year.

The registration packets are available in the office.  A student is not considered registered until all of the required paperwork is completed and turned into the office with the correct registration fee.  Thge registration fee for returning students is $215.00.

We encourage all parents to take advantage of the various discounts available to them.  Call the office with any questions concerning the discounts.  Remember, the office is open during the summer for making payments.

The final report card, certificates and SAT results for the 2009-10 school year will be completed and ready for parents to pick up on Mon., June 21.  Please do not come in and ask for your child's report card prior to this time.

When buying your child's school supplies, remember book bags, back packs, lunch boxes and gym bags must be in one of the school colors (gray, black, burgundy, or white) and must be plain and without decorations.  Scripture verse or Christian theme book bags or lunch boxes are the only exceptions.  Rolling book bags are not acceptable at the school, they mark up our floors.

Students are required to wear tennis shoes with their school uniforms so as not to mark up the Gym floor.  Tennis shoes must be solid black, white, gray, burgundy, or two-tone in school colors with non-marking soles.  Tennis shoes with wheels are not acceptable at school.  Socks must be plain without designs in either solid white, solid gray or solid burgundy.  No other colors are acceptable.
